That is what hope looks like

Is it floating or flowing?

Streaming or shining?

So elusive

I try to grab it

I reach out my hand

Outstretched

I am more than this

I tell myself

Why have I become this

shadow version of myself?

I catch a glimmer

of light

Like a gem

It blankets throwing light

I can dream again!

I can sing again!

I can love again!

I can live again!

Hope

I tell myself

Still lives here
